The official trailer of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Behuli’ has been released, offering audiences a closer look at a story filled with love, family emotions, separation, humour and conflict.
The film stars Paras Bam Thakuri, popularly known as Cool Boy, and Divya Rayamajhi in the lead roles, alongside Sushant Karki, Padam Tamang, Santosh Baniya and Sarita Giri, among others.
Released on Sunday, the trailer introduces the complicated relationship at the centre of the film while combining romantic moments with emotional and dramatic sequences. The story revolves around a young woman seeking love, support and the freedom to build a life on her own terms, placing family relationships and personal choices at the heart of the film.
One of the notable moments in the trailer sees Divya Rayamajhi appearing in a look inspired by her father, veteran Nepali actor Dilip Rayamajhi, adding another talking point around her role in the film.
Cool Boy and Divya Rayamajhi Take Centre Stage
Paras Bam Thakuri, widely recognised by audiences as Cool Boy, shares the screen with Divya Rayamajhi as the film’s central pair. Earlier promotional material for Behuli had already attracted attention by showing Divya dressed as a bride alongside a handcuffed Paras, hinting that their relationship faces much more than the usual challenges of a romantic story.
The film also marks Sushant Karki’s return to acting following a lengthy break, while Padam Tamang and several established performers feature in supporting roles.

Behuli is directed by Sashan Kandel, with the screenplay written by Madhav Sharma.
Musician Arjun Pokhrel is the presenter of the film and is also associated with its music. Pratap Shamsher Rana serves as producer, while Shankar Koirala and Ramesh Silwal are executive producers. Durga Kharel and Shishir Shrestha are credited as co-producers.
The film has cinematography by Narendra Mainali, editing by Bikas Dahal and action choreography by Roshan Shrestha. The project is presented jointly by The Divine Music and Samman Entertainment.
‘Behuli’ Set for September Release
Behuli is scheduled to arrive in cinemas in Nepal on 11 September 2026 (Bhadra 26), coinciding with the Haritalika Teej period. Cinema listings currently classify the film as a family drama, with Paras Bam Thakuri, Divya Rayamajhi and Padam Tamang among its principal cast.
With its combination of romance, family tension and emotional drama, the newly released trailer gives audiences their strongest indication yet of what to expect when Behuli reaches cinemas.
